Cleveland Browns Rumors: Robert Turbin Returns for Duke Johnson, Isaiah Crowell Rotation Week 6? Josh McCown Makes Gary Barnidge, Travis Benjamin Fantasy Starters

Josh McCown might be coming off a big game in Week 5, but he is going to meet a big challenge when he faces the Denver Broncos in Week 6. The Broncos come ready with one of the best defensive units in the league and the Browns are going to need everyone playing their best if they are going to get a win streak going. Week 6 could see additions to the roster to help that happen.

The Browns are hopeful that in Week 6 they get Robert Turbin on the field for the first time. The running back has been inactive since arriving via the Seattle Seahawks and is now back to practicing after dealing with an ankle injury. Turbin was not active in Week 5, but could see playing time against the Denver Broncos as he would battle for time on the field with Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson. According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns are happy with what Crowell and Johnson have been able to do, but getting Turbin would add another fold to the offense.

"My goal is to be able to play some this Sunday," Turbin said, via Scout.com. "Obviously Joe (Sheehan) and those guys and (Browns head coach Mike) Pettine will make the decision ultimately this weekend, but I'm hopeful, they're hopeful and we'll just see how the rest of the week goes in practice. I think I can just be an added asset to the team. I believe in myself and my abilities to be able to make plays out there on the field, and it will be a good opportunity for me to play off of (Isaiah) Crowell and off of Duke (Johnson) and continue to learn from those guys."

Crowell continues to be the workhorse in the run game while Johnson has been more of a factor as a receiver. Neither player is putting up overly impressive numbers, but they are helping get the job done. The Browns would like Turbin to begin playing in order to help the low numbers of the ground game.

While Johnson has been a breakout star for McCown, tight end Gary Barnidge has developed into a new safety blanker for the quarterback. Barnidge continues to put up big numbers for the Browns. Most recently he caught eight passes for 139 yards and a touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens proving his numbers recently are not a fluke. The tight end remains available in most leagues still and would be a smart pickup moving forward.

McCown has cemented himself as the starting quarterback of the Browns. Johnny Manziel is merely a distant memory at the moment. The quarterback was on point when it came to passes to Travis Benjamin and Taylor Gabriel while Brian Hartline and Dwayne Bowe are sitting on their big contracts on the sideline. McCown continues to make something out of nothing for Cleveland as the return of Robert Turbin could help that effort even more.
