The San Francisco 49ers have brought in free agent Terrelle Pryor for a visit and he could be a depth option for the team at wide receiver if he signs a contract. Colin Kaepernick has struggled and the return of Reggie Bush did not help in Week 4 and heading into Week 5, Carlos Hyde is the best fantasy football start option for the Niners.

The 49ers lost again on Sunday and the team is now 1-3 on the season and Colin Kaepernick has struggled to start the season. According to ESPN.com, head coach Jim Tomsula has not considered making a quarterback change to Blaine Gabbert at this point, but there is a chance he could change his mind if the losing continues. The 49ers could only muster three points on offense against the Packers and Kaepernick has not had time to get things going behind a leaky offensive line.

The team saw Reggie Bush return from injury this week and he did not do much, but he could get more work in Week 5 after being out for two games with a calf injury. Carlos Hyde is the starter and the best fantasy option for the Niners right now, but if Bush gets things going, he could be a high upside pick. Bush is solid for PPR leagues, but only if he shows he can stay healthy moving forward. Injuries have always been an issue for Bush and he has missed two games already this season. Bush had one catch for six yards last week and this season he has just three carries for eight yards.

Hyde has been the most consistent fantasy option for the Niners and with Colin Kaepernick struggling, he should continue to get some solid work for the team. Hyde has 282 yards rushing this season and he is close to eclipsing his total from last season when he had 333 yards on the ground. Hyde had 22 yards last week and the running back spoke to CSN Bay Area and said that defenses have been stacking the box against him. Hyde had his best game in Week 1 with 168 yards and two TDs and he will be up against the Giants on Sunday.

The Niners have reportedly worked out free agent Terrelle Pryor, as NFL.com reports that the team brought in Pryor for a visit. Pryor was previously released by the Cleveland Browns and he has had a number of workouts, including with the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots and New York jets before the Niners. The Niners offense has not been a good unit this season and Pryor could be a spark option as a WR. Rand Getlin writes at NFL.com that the Niners could consider Pryor a QB option if Kaepernick still struggles this season, but that is speculation from Getlin and not an official team report.
