NFL Week 4 Fantasy Preview: Dallas Cowboys at New Orleans Saints, Jason Witten, Tony Romo, Matt Cassel, Brandon Weeden, Joseph Randle, Darren McFadden

Dallas Cowboys

Jason Witten (Tight End): Witten should be the Cowboys quarterbacks' (Brandon Weeden/Matt Cassel) main target in this game. The Saints defense is soft and Witten should not have a hard time getting open. Witten is a receiver in this offense and without Romo these players can have very sporadic production.

Joseph Randle/Lance Dunbar/Darren McFadden (Running back): Randle went on a tear last week and Dunbar gained 100 yards through the air. McFadden also saw the end zone making this one of the most efficient running back committees ever seen. Randle should be the RB1 for this Cowboys offense going up against a weak Saints defense that should crumble against a better Dallas offense.

Terrance Williams/Cole Beasley (Wide Receiver): Williams and Beasley are the odd men out now that Dallas has gone all in on the running game. Weeden is afraid to throw the ball down the field and with good reason. Weeden is not an accurate deep passer which is why the acquisition of Matt Cassel is so interesting because it is only a matter of time before he gets an opportunity to start. Cowboy's receivers should be avoided until their offense has a more consistent game plan.

New Orleans Saints

Brandin Cooks (Wide Receiver): Cooks is the primary receiver for whoever is throwing the ball for the Saints. He should have a hard time against this Cowboys secondary but the amount of targets he should receive will make up for that.

Mark Ingram/CJ Spiller/Khiry Robinson (Running Back): Ingram will have an opportunity to test this Cowboys defense while they are banged up. Ingram will get the majority of reps while being spelled by Robinson on occasion. Spiller is more of a passing down back and unless Brees is in, I find it hard to see him having a much larger role than he did last week.

Drew Brees (Quarterback): Still a 50/50 shot to play, Brees will make owners very nervous this week. He has resumed passing in practice however his rotator cuff may not be in game condition yet. Brees will be a game time decision so check your lineups accordingly.
