Head coach Tom Coughlin of the New York Giants celebrates with Odell Beckham Jr. #13 of the New York Giants and Rueben Randle #82 of the New York Giants against the Dallas Cowboys in the first half at AT&T Stadium on October 19, 2014 in Arlington, Texas."

The Giants will continue to shuffle their receiving core as Parker was released by the team on Tuesday. Parker was slated to fill in for Victor Cruz while he deals with a hamstring injury however Parker underwhelmed dramatically.

Parker has dropped 5 passes in the first two games of the 2015 season and remained ineffective as a playmaker for Big Blue. The Giants have struggled all season so far moving the ball on their opponents especially when Eli is not throwing to a receiver named Odell Beckham JR.

In all phases of the ball the Giants could use improvement so they must feel as if the newly signed Kendrick Ellis who will be taking Parker's roster spot could help more than he can. Ellis is a defensive tackle that spent the first part of his career with the New York Jets. The Giants should be chastised for releasing James Jones only to hang on to lesser receivers.

The Giants brought Ben McAdoo to the team and did not hang on to one of the most productive pieces of the McAdoo era in Green Bay.  Jones has already proved his worth in Green Bay stepping right back into his old role. The Giants need help and whomever they bring in will need to contribute right away.
