Baltimore Ravens

Steve Smith SR/Kamar Aiken (Wide Receiver): Smith was targeted a team high 15 times and hauled in 10 catches for 150 yards. Smith has to pick up the slack for an ailing Ravens wide receiving core but Kamar Aiken has been a welcome relief. Aiken finished week 2 bringing in 5 out of his 7 targets for 89 yards. These two players will be the main guys utilized in the Ravens passing game.

Justin Forsett/ Lorenzo Taliaferro/Buck Allen (Running Backs): Forsett did not see the end zone which is always disappointing for a highly valued running back. Forsett finished his day with 15 carries for 68 yards and caught all 4 of his targets for 12 yards. Taliaferro returned to action backing up Forsett and immediately began to vulture his touchdowns. Taliaferro had 7 carries for 34 yards and a touchdown. He also caught all three of his targets which netted about 12 yards. Allen was on the short end of the stick this time around he finished his day with 1 carry for 5 yards and 1 catch that only netted 2 yards.

Joe Flacco (Quarterback): Flacco completed 32/45 passes for 385 yards, 2 touchdowns, and an interception. Flacco will remain a QB2 in deep leagues until at least the return of debut of Breshad Perriman.

Oakland Raiders

Latavius Murray (Running Back): Murray finally reached the end zone which was a big relief for fantasy owners in week 2. The Raiders offense looked dreadful in week 1 which made their upset of the Baltimore Ravens that much more incredible. Murray finished the game with 15 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown. He also added 3 catches for 22 yards which was just the icing on the cake. Murray will only struggle when the passing game has no consistency or production and hopefully now that will happen less and less.

Amari Cooper/Michael Crabtree (Wide Receivers): Both of these guys had huge games this week. Cooper hauled in 7 out of 11 targets for 109 yards and a touchdown while Crabtree brought in 9 out of 16 targets for 111 yards and a touchdown. Comparatively Crabtree was the better option however there is no denying Cooper's long term position as the number 1 wide receiver for the Raiders.

Waiver Wire Target

Derek Carr (OAK) (Quarterback): Carr is on the cusp of becoming fantasy relevant after throwing for 351 yards, completing 30 out of 46 of his passes and throwing 3 touchdowns with only 1 interception. Carr could be useful depending on the matchup to a quarterback needy team in deep leagues.
