The Green Bay Packers got the Week 2 win over the Seattle Seahawks, but it came at a cost. With the team already down leading receiver Jordy Nelson, the Packers are aiming to avoid any more injury issues for the remainder of the season. However, Week 2 did not offer up any relief as both Eddie Lacy and Davante Adams were carted off the field leaving Aaron Rodgers to be potentially very short on weapons to work with in Week 3.

The first injury came in the first quarter of the game when Lacy went down with an ankle injury. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, x-rays on Lacy's ankle were negative and right now the issue is being ruled as a sprain, but it is expected the running back could miss some time which would leave the Packers' without their leading rusher. James Starks got the nod in place of Lacy and put up 95 yards on 20 carries, but he did fumble in the second quarter. If Lacy were to miss time in Week 3, Starks would get the nod and be a solid fantasy wavier option heading into the next game.

Lacy was not the only injury the Packers were hit with in the game. Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reported that Adams was carted off with an ankle injury and did not return to the game. This could be a huge issue for Green Bay should he miss time on the field. Adams was expected to be the team's second receiver following the injury to Nelson. Without him, the Packers are extremely thin at quality options. Randall Cobb has been the leader of the unit while James Jones has been a nice surprise. Ty Montgomery would immediately move into a starting role for the team should Adams be out. The wide receiver unit is already thin in Green Bay and cannot afford to get worse.

The Green Bay win also came with some controversy. Rodgers appeared to take a slight jab at Russell Wilson who stated that his belief in God had a hand in the Seahawks beating the Packer in the playoffs last season. Rodgers then re-visited those comments on Sunday night when he said (via ESPN.com), "And then getting help from God. I think God was a Packers fan tonight, so he was taking care of us."

Fans can read into that however they want. The Packers might have gotten the win, but they have some issues moving forward. Injuries could be a huge problem for the team as Lacy and Adams are keys to helping Rodgers get those wins.
