The Chicago Bulls have signed Jordan Crawford to a training camp deal and he will join players like Jimmy Butler, Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol as the Bulls try and work on chemistry under new head coach Fred Hoiberg. This season the team could look at a Taj Gibson trade, as the Bulls could consider adding some depth at center behind Joakim Noah.

The Bulls have had a quiet but important offseason, as the team changed head coaches and kept their star player in Chicago. Butler signed a max contract with the team and while it was very unlikely that Butler was going to leave, there were some reports that he was considering other teams. But that never came close to happening and now Butler is the centerpiece of the franchise along with Rose. The team also opted to let go of Tom Thibodeau and brought in Hoiberg, who was rumored to be an option for the Bulls since the middle of last season.

The Bulls have had some disappointing finishes in the playoffs over the past few years and now the team is hoping they have put enough together to overtake the Cavaliers. Last season the team was leading the Cavs in the division race for most of the year, but by the end the Cavs took over and did not look back. The Bulls added back Butler along with Kirk Hinrich, Mike Dunleavy and Aaron Brooks this summer and now the team has added another option off the bench heading into camp.

According to Yahoo Sports, Jordan Crawford has signed a training camp deal with the Chicago Bulls and he could be an option to make the final roster if he plays well in camp. The Bulls don't need much at guard, but with Rose, Brooks, Butler and Hinrich the main options along with Tony Snell and E'Twaun Moore, it doesn't hurt to have another player in the mix to see how he performs. Crawford last played in the NBA in 2013 and he comes in after playing in China and also in the NBA Developmental League last season.

Jimmy Butler spoke to ESPN Chicago about his upcoming season and his contract and he was asked about chemistry issues between Derrick Rose and himself. Butler downplayed any issues and said that the chemistry between the two is "improving" and that he expects things to get better this season. The change with Hoiberg from Thibodeau also could be a big help.

The Bulls also may look at making a trade at some point this season with Taj Gibson, as the team is fairly deep at the forward position. The team has Pau Gasol, Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic and Gibson could end up being just a reserve player this season. According to the Chicago Tribune, Gibson could come up in trade talks this year, as he has $8 million on his contract for the next two years and that may be too much for what his role will be. Gibson had ankle surgery and will be out for a stretch, so he could be a trade target closer to the deadline.
