The fantasy football season is about to begin and some of the best kickers to draft for 2015 include Stephen Gostkowski, Adam Vinatieri, Steven Hauschka, Justin Tucker, Brandon McManus, Cody Parkey, Mason Crosby, Dan Bailey, Matt Bryant and Matt Prater, as they could very high scoring this season.

Some kickers are more valuable than others and of course things can change based on scoring in certain leagues with extra points and field goals, but for the most part, owners can't go wrong with Stephen Gostkowski, Adam Vinatieri or Steven Hauschka. Getting a kicker usually comes late in drafts, but they can be very valuable for fantasy owners, especially in weeks when matchups are close. Higher scoring teams often give out higher scoring kickers, so targeting Stephen Gostkowski or Adam Vinatieri is wise for owners.

In Yahoo Sports leagues, Gostkowski, Parkey, Vinatieri, Dan Carpenter and Dan Bailey put up the most points and they are all worth picks this season. Gostkowski made 12 field goals from 40-49 yards last season and he will also get the chance to put up a lot of extra points. Outdoor kickers are more risky than indoor ones, but this is also the NFL and the players are expected to make the kicks they are supposed to make.

It's hard to go wrong with Vinatieri, Gostkowski or Hauschka, but if the outdoor.indoor thing is a bother, Vinatieri is still pretty accurate after all these years. Last season he made 30 field goals and the Colts could put up a ton of points with Andrew Luck leading the way again. Carpenter and Bailey are solid options, while Mason Crosby, Justin Tucker and Nick Folk are also rated in the top part of the group.

Crosby is a good option after finishing in the top five in fantasy points last season and over the last six years he has been in the top 10 five times. Crosby has to kick in Green Bay and he does a pretty good job, so ending up with him is a good result for fantasy owners. Dan Bailey is matched up with the Giants this week for the first game of the season and he has the chance to put up some points.
