Following a tough loss on Oct. 20 against Norwich City in Premier League action, Arsenal will look to rebound against Schalke 04 on Wednesday.

The two will face off in a UEFA Champions League match at Emirates Stadium in England. It will be the third league match for both clubs.

Arsenal lost a hard fought match against Norwich City that was the result of an error by goalkeeper Vito Mannone. Norwich scored the only goal of the game after Mannone fumbled Alexander Tettey's long shot that was tapped in by Grant Holt.

"We have got over it and we will focus on our next game, that is the only way to deal with it, to put the disappointment behind us and focus on Schalke,'' Wenger said to ESPN.com.

Although Mannone made a crucial error, manager Arsene Wenger said he plans to stick with the keeper for the game against Schalke.

"I've spoken to Mannone - we both know mistakes can happen to every big 'keeper," the Frenchman said in the Daily Mirror. "But I am not tempted to play Martinez. The biggest quality of a 'keeper is experience. Putting an even less experienced player in now wouldn't be the right thing."

Arsenal has earned six points in two league matches played, winning 2-1 against Montpellier and 3-1 against Olympiakos on Oct. 3.

"We have a good opportunity, we play at home against Schalke and since we know that we won in Montpellier, our qualifying will depend on how well we do at home," said Wenger.

Wednesday's Group B match is crucial for both sides due to the fact that Schalke is ranked second in the group behind Arsenal with four points. Schalke defeated Olympiakos 2-1 in September and later played to a 2-2 draw with Montpellier on Oct. 3.

"He (Lukas Podolski) is hot in every game - he has played very well until Saturday. For tomorrow (against Schalke), he has a bit more pressure than normal, but I think he's used to that - he has over 100 caps for Germany, so I think he can handle that," said Wenger to Yahoo. He is a very friendly person and he works very hard - and I think he works hard for the team as well. I don't think you can pretend with this sort of thing. In the dressing room, there is a great atmosphere and I think he has been accepted very well."

The club has injury concerns for Kieran Gibbs and Theo Walcott, both of whom will not play. Defender Laurent Koscielny will be in the lineup after missing the Norwich game.

Arsenal has lost two of three Premier league games, but has won two straight Champions League contests. Lukas Podolski leads the club with two goals and has scored four goals in his last three Champions League matches, according to Yahoo.

Schalke has had a tough time with European opponents, losing seven of the past eight matches. One good sign for the club though, their last win came against Arsenal at home in September 2001.

"Our young team is still developing. But the players have shown what they are capable of," said Schalke manager Huub Stevens. "I see Arsenal as the favourites for our group. Montpellier, Olympiacos and we will be fighting for second place."

Schalke will be dealing with some major injuries for the match, including to midfielder Julian Draxler, who broke his wrist against Montpellier. Defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos is also questionable after missing two weeks of action with the chicken pox.
