Expectations are heavy on the shoulders of Amari Cooper. The Oakland Raiders drafted the former Alabama star to be an immediate impact player for the offense and so far the receiver is living up to the hype as he continues to have a solid preseason heading into his rookie year. Cooper is just one part of the Raiders' offense that has fans in Oakland excited. Quarterback Derek Carr believes the Raiders have one it takes to be very explosive on that side of the field.

Carr has reasons to feel confident in the Raiders' offense and it mainly stems from his chemistry built up with Cooper and Crabtree. The two wide receivers continue to make plays in the preseason as Carr is clearly on the same page with both players at this point in the year. Cooper has lived up to every expectation so far placed upon him and Carr believes that will only continue.

"He is ridiculous in and out of his breaks," said Carr via the team's website. "His style of play is perfect for this league. He's good at getting on toes and creating separation. He's good at when the ball is in his hands making those fast-twitch movements to make a guy go one way so he can take it to the house. It's just little things that honestly people don't even notice."

The same is being said about Crabtree who is enjoying a return-to-form year after struggling with the San Francisco 49ers. Crabtree came into Oakland with a lot to prove as he certainly had more doubts than fans, but according to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Raiders are more than happy with what he is bringing to the field as he will be a starter for the team.

"He's such a great teammate," said Carr, via the Chronicle. "I love the guy. I talk to him all the time. We're always talking about the game. We're always talking ball. We're always talking routes, concepts, and what we're going to do during the game, and hand signals, all those things. He is a football junkie. He's been a nice guy, a nice addition to our team."

Andre Holmes, Rod Streater and Brice Butler will battle as the rotational receivers for the Raiders. All three players have seen starting time for Oakland in the past meaning the team has built up some quality depth. The same can be said for the tight end position as Clive Walford and Mychal Rivera battle it out to start. Carr might be right in saying the Raiders could have one of their better offenses in years.
