Dallas Cowboys Offensive linemen, including tackle Laurence Gibson (67), tackle John Wetzel (61), center Ronald Patrick (78), tackle R.J. Dill (74), guard Ronald Leary (65), Zack Martin #70, La'el Collins and center Travis Frederick (72), walk to the field together before the team's afternoon practice at training camp in Oxnard, Calif., on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015."

The Dallas Cowboys are dealing with some injuries on the offensive line with Zack Martin out until next week and that could push La'el Collins into the starting lineup this preseason, as Ronald Leary, Tyron Smith and Doug Free are all banged up for Tony Romo heading into the second game of the preseason in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Cowboys offensive line is extremely important for this season, as the team felt they could let DeMarco Murray go and still retain the same type of production from their running backs. While Darren McFadden, Joseph Randle and Lance Dunbar make up a solid group, the main reason for Murray being allowed to walk was the confidence in the offensive line. The line is considered one of the best in the league and if the Cowboys suffer serious injuries, it could be a major issue this season.

According to ESPN Dallas, Martin is dealing with a neck issue and is questionable for the game against the 49ers and likely will sit out. Martin was injured in practice and he went down and remained on the field for a few minutes, but he was able to get back off the field on his own. Martin suffered a "stinger" and the Cowboys website reported that Martin will be out for the week and "perhaps" will sit out for Sunday against the Niners.

The team likely will be cautious with Martin, as the right guard played in all 16 games last season and with some injuries coming down for the line, the Cowboys will want to make sure Martin is recovered before putting him back on the field. Pro Football Talk reported that left guard Ronald Leary is dealing with an injury and is having an MRI on his back, while Smith is dealing with a biceps issue, but it's not considered to be a serious injury.

Doug Free has been dealing with a foot injury this summer and while PFT writes that all players are expected to be ready for Week 1 of the season, it could open up a chance for Collins to get into the starting lineup for a little bit. According to the Dallas Morning News, Collins has gotten work with the first team offense for preseason practices in training camp and he could continue getting looks, although it is "unlikely" that Collins will end up as the starter over Leary as long as the MRI doesn't show any serious injury.

Free had foot surgery in the offseason and he reportedly is going to be ready for the start of the season. Leary is getting an MRI and if he is out, Collins can slot in until he comes back. The Cowboys have dealt with some injuries at RB and Joseph Randle will likely be the starter as long as he is healthy.
