The St. Louis Rams and Oakland Raiders are playing on the NFL preseason schedule for Week 1 and the matchup from O.co Coliseum starts at 10 pm and the game is a matchup between west division teams from the NFC and AFC as Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, Nick Foles, Tre Mason and Latavius Murray get things going for 2015.
The Raiders are looking to rebound after a tough season and they have Cooper coming in as a rookie and he has high expectations for this year. The Raiders open up with the Rams and then the team plays the rest of the preseason slate against the Vikings on the road, the Arizona Cardinals at home and then on the road against the Seahawks for the final matchup of the preseason.
The Raiders are pushing Latavius Murray as the starter at running back over Trent Richardson and he should get the chance to be the main option at RB. Carr comes in after a strong rookie season and the team is expecting him to take another step this year. The Raiders open the season with the Bengals and Jack Del Rio comes in as head coach and he has the defense looking strong in front of Khalil Mack.
The team has the Bengals and then the Ravens on the schedule before playing the Browns for three straight games of AFC north opponents. The team then has the Bears on the road and they will have the Broncos next after that and it's the first divisional matchup for the team. The Raiders then play against the Chargers and then the Jets, while the Steelers, Vikings and Lions are next on the schedule.
The Raiders then play against the Vikings and Lions and after that is the Titans, Chiefs and Broncos on the schedule. The team ends the season with the Broncos, Packers, Chargers and Chiefs. The Rams open things up for the preseason against the Raiders and Titans on the road and then the team has the Colts and Chiefs on the schedule. The team starts the season with the Seahawks and then the Redskins, while the Steelers, Cardinals and Packers are next on the schedule.
The rams are looking to have a big season with Foles coming in and the team has the Browns, 49ers, Vikings and Bears coming up and the Ravens, Bengals and Cardinals are next on the schedule. The team finishes off the season against the Ravens, Bengals, Cardinals and then the Lions, Bucs, Seahawks and 49ers to end things on the road.
