NY Knicks Rumors: Norris Cole Deal Denied as Jose Calderon Traded for Mario Chalmers, Eric Bledsoe, Marcus Smart Mid-Season? Carlos Boozer Helps Robin Lopez

The New York Knicks are just about at capacity for the offseason after finalizing two contracts to add depth the roster. The Knicks were unable to lock down A-list talent this offseason and will instead get by with plenty of depth. As one or two moves continue to get linked to New York, the addition of both Kevin Seraphin and Sasha Vujacic might mean the end of New York's free agency run.

According to the New York Daily News, the Knicks have officially inked Vujacic to a training camp contract, guaranteeing him nothing for the regular season. At 31, the interest in Vujacic comes after his successful stint with the Los Angeles Lakers under the eye of Phil Jackson. The guard has primarily been playing overseas despite seeing a brief period of playing time with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2014.

According to ESPN's Ian Begley, the Knicks have also officially inked Seraphin to a contract after weeks of interest. Seraphin was signed to help with the size issue on the Knicks roster. Robin Lopez represented the best at the center position and needed a quality backup behind him. Seraphin averaged 6.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 79 games last season coming off the bench and could truly be an asset at protecting the rim for the Knicks. Seraphin will join Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle O'Quinn as the lone big men added this year. With that there are still two roster spots up for grabs in New York.

According to Sam Amico of FOX Sports, the Knicks are a team listed as interested restricted free agent Norris Cole, but a deal is unlikely to be agreed upon. Amico believes that even if the Knicks like what they see in Cole, the New Orleans Pelicans will match the offer. However, it does mean that the Knicks feel they might need another body behind the three-headed rotation of Langston Galloway, Jerian Grant and Jose Calderon. Galloway only has a partial contract to his name and there is doubt that he will make the final roster. The Knicks must won if Cole or someone else is an upgrade of the second-year player.

There are trade options the Knicks could try and make mid-year. Mario Chalmers will be available for cheap with the Miami Heat. Of course big names like Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Jennings or Marcus Smart could also become available mid-season. Jackson told the media that he liked what he saw from Galloway, but stressed that he must keep up the momentum in order to remain on the team. The Knicks are heavily cash strapped so if they want another point guard, they must be wise in how they handle the move.
