Dallas Cowboys News: Greg Hardy Helps Fans Raise Money For Banner For Philly Rivalry At Training Camp

Aug 03, 2015 12:36 PM EDT

Since Greg Hardy's arrival in Dallas the fans have shown nothing but excitement and intrigue over what his pass rushing skills bring to this Cowboys defense.

Now it appears the fans are also getting a little help with revenge. Philadelphia Eagles fans have started a fund raising campaign to replicate what the New York Jets fan base recently did to a New England Patriot's practice.

The collective of Eagles fans want to fly a banner over Cowboys training camp that reads "We got DeMarco!" during the Cowboys Blue and White scrimmage; in response Cowboys player Greg Hardy has given $300 to a group of Cowboy's fans who want to fly a banner over Philadelphia Eagles practice that reads "We got the division".

Hardy requested that the banner be changed to say "WE STILL DEM BOYZ!" The fans actually ended up raising $2,500 dollars and any additional money is going to be donated to a Dallas charity/hospital that the Cowboys are affiliated with. The Cowboys have made Hardy unavailable to the media until the season is underway but clearly he is ready to jump in what might be the division's most heated rivalry head first.
