NFL Camp News: NY Jets Fans Get Rivalry Going With Patriots Plane Banner

Jul 30, 2015 02:27 PM EDT

New York Jets fans have gotten this rivalry going early this year. This latest incident was sparked by a Jets fan site call NYJetsFans.com. Apparently this website sent a plane to fly over a New England Patriots practice with a banner and a message that stated CHEATERS LOOK UP!

Jets super fan Jason Koeppel is one of the creators of the banner used in this flyby, and he stated "The time has come for Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft to start dealing with reality, sports fans are not stupid. We have seen this act before from disgraced former superstar athletes. People like Lance Armstrong and Ryan Braun who challenged the system after they got caught red handed. Ben Johnson, Marion Jones, A-Rod, Roger Clemens -- the list of people who lied after they got caught cheating is sadly endless."

This is also the same man who put up a billboard in New York City with the message "Fire John Idzik" the former Jets general manager. This billboard was so effective Idzik was fired and the Jets moved on. The animosity for the Patriots runs throughout all facets of the organization as it has recently been found out that Darrelle Revis plans on not wearing his Super Bowl ring (which he won with the Patriots) around any of his Jet's teammates.
