Los Angeles is a huge market for any NFL team especially if they are coming from much smaller cities. The St. Louis Rams, Oakland Raiders, and San Diego Chargers are all front runners for the move.

The Rams unfortunately for St. Louis fans are looking like the obvious choice. The Rams have the second richest owner in the NFL with Stan Kroenke. The Rams also have the most historical significance to Los Angeles having played in southern California from 1946 to 1994 giving them the largest potential fan base. St. Louis has fought to keep the Rams but often times if a team is looking for a new home it's not up to the fans in the old one.

The most logical thing would be to split California into three teams, Northern California (Chargers), Southern California (Rams) and the Bay Area can keep the Raiders. Any new stadium built in Los Angeles would be hard pressed not to house two NFL teams much like the Giants and Jets do for New York. The New York example is a good one; the Jets get everything north of the Bronx except for Buffalo and the Giants everything south.

This way the biggest markets have the most representation. The Chargers and Rams have also been on the way out of their respective cities most likely do to the fact that they can barely end the season with a winning record, maybe a fresh start in a bigger market is necessary to change the overall luck of the teams.
