The NBA trade market could heat up with free agency drying up, as players like Nick Young, Joe Johnson, Jamal Crawford, Jose Calderon, Ty Lawson, Rudy Gay, Eric Bledsoe, Jrue Holiday and Ryan Anderson are potential targets for teams this summer if the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, LA Clippers, Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Pelicans and Denver Nuggets look at making trades.

The Lakers pulled off a trade for Roy Hibbert with the Indiana Pacers and reports have the team looking to deal Nick Young to clear sap space. According to Sam Amico, the Lakers have been talking with the Cavaliers about taking the contract of Brendan Haywood. While Young has not been directly involved in those talks, Amico writes that he could be moved to a third team to get a deal done. Haywood is a target for the Lakers, Clippers and Suns, as he has a $10.5 million contract that is not guaranteed.

Young may not end up getting traded by the Lakers, but Adrian Wojnarowski writes that he could be in play after the team signed Lou Williams. Joe Johnson has come up in trade rumors, as the Nets are looking to get rid of his salary. The Nets are working on a buyout with Deron Williams and Johnson also could be a target to move, as Chris Broussard at ESPN reported that the Cavs and Nets were talking a deal about Johnson.

Johnson is on an expiring deal and while it's at $24 million, he could be an attractive option for teams on the market. Broussard later reported that the deal between the Cavs and the Nets regarding Johnson was "stagnant", but that doesn't mean the team won't continue trying to find another trade this offseason. The Cavaliers have been interested in adding another outside scorer and they also looked into a deal with Jamal Crawford with the Clippers.

According to Marc Stein at ESPN, Crawford is a target for the Clippers and the Miami Heat this offseason. The Clippers reportedly have been looking into the Brendan Haywood deal and they could use Crawford to make that move. The team has signed Paul Pierce this offseason and could offload Crawford after also bringing back DeAndre Jordan. Stein added that with the Johnson deal likely done for the Cavs, the team could turn instead to Crawford and the Clippers.

Jose Calderon is an option to be traded by the Knicks, as he came up in trade talks last season and could be a target at the trading deadline this year. Calderon is coming in after an up and down season with the Knicks last year and they could look at dealing him after drafting Jerian Grant and signing Arron Afflalo. Ty Lawson is another name to watch, but his most reported destination was the Kings and that is likely off the table with Rajon Rondo there. Lawson appears to be on his way out, as he has had off the court issues with management and the Nuggets just drafted Emmanuel Mudiay.

Rudy Gay, Eric Bledsoe and Jrue Holiday also could be shopped this summer, as Sean Deveney of the Sporting News reported that the Suns offered Bledsoe to the Knicks. The Kings could shop Gay to try and free up cap space after signing Caron Butler and Rondo, while Holiday reportedly could be on the outs in New Orleans. SB Nation reports that he had interest from the Kings previously.
