The Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles are playing live on the MLB schedule on Friday afternoon and the matchup from Oriole Park at Camden Yards has the AL East rivals matching up and they are both 2-1 this season and the starting pitchers will be Mark Buehrle and Bud Norris and that matchup gets started with first pitch at 3:05 pm ET.

The Blue Jays come in after taking two of three from the Yankees, while the Orioles plated against the Rays to open up the season. The two teams will play nearly 20 times this season and this kicks it off and it comes after the Blue Jays won four of 10 games on the road against the Orioles last season. The Jays won eight games against the team in 2014 and now they will try and get a win with Buehrle on the mound.

The pitching matchups for the weekend include Aaron Sanchez and Ubaldo Jimenez going against each other, while Chris Tillman and Drew Hutchison will face off on Sunday. The Blue Jays come in after looking good against the Yankees and they will be looking to keep the good start going. Buehrle comes in after winning 13 games last season, while Norris won 15 games last year for the Orioles.

The Orioles have catcher Matt Wieters dealing with an injury and he is on the DL and the team is hoping they can get by without him for now. Chris Davis is back from his suspension and now he will be at home for the first time since that ban. The Orioles took two of three games to start the season against the Rays and they scored a bunch of runs in the series and so far have been okay with Nelson Cruz leaving for the Mariners. Norris had his best season last year and he will try and follow that up for another good season.

Brett Cecil was just knocked out of the closers role for the Jays and that could open things up in the bullpen for the team. Russell Martin is in his first season with the team and he will be looking to keep the Jays staff sharp. Steve Pearce, Alejandro DeAza and Delmon Young give the Orioles some pop in the lineup with Cruz gone and they will have to find a way to continue getting the long ball.

The Blue Jays feel they can be a factor in the AL East after making numerous additions, including Michael Saunders and Josh Donaldson in trades.
