Colorado Rockies vs. Milwaukee Brewers Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming MLB Opening Day Baseball Game

Apr 06, 2015 01:58 PM EDT

The Colorado Rockies and Milwaukee Brewers are playing on the MLB Opening Day schedule on Monday and the game from Miller Park starts at 2:10 pm ET as the National League teams start their seasons and the matchup has Kyle Kendrick against Kyle Lohse for the pitching matchup for another baseball season.

The Brewers and the Rockies each had tough seasons in 2014, but they both have reasons for optimism this year. The teams are getting their best players back healthy and that means Ryan Braun, Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez will be in the lineup for their teams. Braun dealt with nagging injuries last season and he is looking to get back to his MVP form after dealing with PED issues and those injuries last year.

Braun has looked good down the stretch of the spring and the team is hoping that third baseman Aramis Ramirez will have another strong season. The Brewers have a solid lineup with catcher Jonathan Lucroy after he had an All-Star season last year and the team is looking to keep the team healthy through the first month of the season. Lucroy dealt with a hamstring injury, but he was much better in the second part of the spring and he led the team in home runs during spring play.

Tulowitzki was having a great season last year before getting injured and he played in just 91 games last season. The Rockies are hoping that Tulo can return and it comes as he was having an MVP season before getting injured last year. Tulowitzki has been strong this spring and he has had five home runs and 12 RBIs during that play and the team is hoping that will continue. The same goes for Gonzalez, who has also dealt with injuries and if both CarGo and Tulowitzki are healthy, the Rockies should be a tough team in the west.

Kendrick is on the mound and he previously was with the Phillies and now gets the chance to start things off for the Rockies. The Rockies have him as the oldest starter for the team and he comes in after going 2-2 at the park in his career. The Brewers made the playoffs recently, but they have had a tough run and they are looking to get back into the playoffs mix in the NL this season. The west will be a tough division for the Rockies and the Brewers have a deep one to deal with in the central with the Pirates, Cardinals and Cubs.
