The Miami Dolphins are coming into the draft with the chance to add a solid prospect at number 14, as the team may target players like DeVante Parker, Kevin White, Jaelen Strong, Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon and Dorial Green-Beckham for Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins also may look at Randy Gregory if he falls out of the top 10 after his failed drug test.

The Dolphins missed the playoffs last season and after signing Ndamukong Suh and trading for Kenny Stills, the pressure will be on the team to make the postseason. According to James Walker at ESPN, the Dolphins may target DeVante Parker in the first round of the draft along with Kevin White. The team is interested in adding a wide receiver after trading away Mike Wallace and this year there is a deep class of players to check out.

Parker has great speed and is coming off of a solid career at Louisville, while White is being looked at as one of the top prospects and he may not make it out of the top 10. Strong is getting more attention heading into the draft, as he could be one of the top players among the second wave of receivers. Amari Cooper, White and Parker are the top three right now and there is a chance Breshad Perriman also could get into the mix for Miami.

Dorial Green-Beckham has some off the field issues, but he is considered a top 10 talent and will likely not be taken until later on. The Dolphins also may want to add some depth at running back, as they have met with Todd Gurley and could target Gordon. Randy Gregory failed a drug test at the NFL combine, but many scouts see him as a top 10 talent. The Dolphins could take a risk if Gregory falls out of the top 13 picks, as they likely would have never had a chance to get him had he not failed that test.

Tannehill is coming off of his best season and the Dolphins want to keep adding weapons for him after some changeover on the roster. The team got rid of its leading receiver in a trade with Mike Wallace moving to the Vikings and the Dolphins also released Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson. The team added Kenny Stills in a trade and also has Jarvis Landry returning after a good rookie season. The Dolphins also have Rishard Matthews and that is why they want to add some depth.

The Dolphins feel like they can challenge the Patriots with the additions they made this year and now they have the chance to add another weapon on offense if they go that direction.
