What will Chip Kelly do next? The Philadelphia Eagles have easily been the most active team in free agency to this point in the offseason and they continue to stir the pot with potential moves. After losing two of their biggest offensive weapons in LeSean McCoy and Jeremy Maclin, they won the DeMarco Murray race and made a blockbuster trade for Sam Bradford at quarterback. However, that was not enough for Chip Kelly as Tim Tebow is getting thrown into the mix as Eagles' fans just simply cover their eyes.

The Eagles made headlines when they brought in former Denver Broncos, New York Jets and New England Patriots quarterback Tebow for a workout. The former Heisman winner has not been seen on a football field since getting cut from the Patriots during training camp in 2013. He since has taken on a role with the SEC Network while doing work for Good Morning America. Almost everyone considered his career over, but Philadelphia brought him to see what he can do.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles have no intentions of signing Tebow at this time. Philadelphia currently has Bradford, Mark Sanchez and Matt Barkley handling the quarterback rotation. However, ProFootballTalk.com reported if the Eagles are able to trade Barkley in the coming weeks, the team will sign Tebow to a contract. Bring on the media frenzy.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen was the first to report that Barkley was being shopped by Philadelphia for a late-round draft pick. Many scratched their heads when Kelly drafted Barkley considered he does not fit the typical mold that the coach likes with his quarterbacks, but then again neither does Bradford or Sanchez. Barkley has seen very little playing time since getting taken in the fourth round of the draft, but could hold some worth on the trade market. The Eagles could favor getting more draft picks for Barkley and sign Tebow who likely will never see the field. Is the media circus worth it?

All of this seems to simply be leading up to a big trade in the draft for Marcus Mariota. Every NFL analyst will assume the Eagles are just preparing to sell the farm for the former Oregon quarterback as Kelly continues to call him the best quarterback in the draft. Right now, the Eagles do not have a long-term quarterback on their roster. Mariota is that long-term guy. Of course the Eagles could shoot down all of those rumors by re-signing Bradford who is entering the final year of his contract, but do not expect that to happen. Instead everyone will stay put and wait to see if Kelly really is gunning for a reunion with his former college star.
