March Madness 2015 is set with the full bracket ready for the NCAA Tournament and this year the Kentucky Wildcats are the overall top seed ahead of Duke, Wisconsin and Villanova and this comes as the schedule is ready to start and below is a link to a bracket with the team seeds, regional matchups and start times for all the games.
Turner and CBS have the coverage once again and the first play-in games are on Tuesday and Wednesday to get the full field set. The number one seed overall is Kentucky and they come in after going undefeated this season. The Wildcats could be the first team in decades to win the championship without a loss and it puts the entire bracket up against the team in a sense. Kentucky comes in at number one overall, while Duke, Villanova and Wisconsin are the other No. 1 seeds across the regions.
Wisconsin was locked in as a number one seed and it comes after the Badgers won the Big Ten tournament title. The team won over Michigan State in overtime and they now are coming in with a 31-3 record on the season. The Badgers are in the west regional, while Kentucky is in the Midwest. Duke has the number one seed in the south region, while Villanova is tops in the east.
The Badgers got their highest seed in school history, while Duke comes in despite losing the ACC title, as they had a very impressive season. Arizona is a number two seed along with Gonzaga and Virginia, while Kansas is the number two in the Midwest region. Kansas will have to deal with the Wildcats if they make it that far and early on, it looks like undefeated Kentucky is the team to beat for everyone. Arizona was reportedly in the running for a number one seed, but the selection committee liked Duke.
Duke has had some impressive wins this season, including against ranked teams on the road and now they will be the number one seed in the south. The bottom teams to make it in included some bigger names, including UCLA and Texas, while some of the schools left out included Colorado State, Temple and Old Dominion. The tournament starts with play-in games, including the number 11 seed game that has BYU and Ole Miss playing on Tuesday.
The matchups for the play-ins are called the First Four and that will begin on Tuesday with Hampton and Manhattan matching up as 16 seeds. The Wednesday matchups have Robert Morris and North Florida playing in the 16 seed game, while Dayton and Boise State are playing the late matchup for the last play-in game. No 16-seed has won over a number one before and with four strong teams at the top this year, it's likely not happening again.
