Dan Henderson will go down as one of MMA's all-time greats, regardless of whether or not he can beat Jon Jones, but will the fight still happen next Saturday?"

According to the oddsmakers, it would take a superhuman effort from Dan Henderson in order to take the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship off of Jon "Bones" Jones next Saturday night at 151.

Based on late reports on Wednesday, however, it's looking like it may take a significant effort for Henderson to get into the cage in Las Vegas.

Rumors circulated Wednesday night on Twitter - with participation from MMA insiders like Luke Thomas of MMA Fighting and fighter-turned-broadcaster Kenny Florian - that the former Pride and Strikeforce Champion had suffered a knee injury in training, possibly at the hands of Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, jeopardizing his opportunity to fight Jones next weekend for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. A UFC Championship would be the crowning jewel in an unassailable legacy that includes championship and tournament wins in four different promotions, not to mention 15 years of fights without suffering a single knockout.

Hendo sent out a late tweet of his own Wednesday night that he had finished a great training session, which was promptly retweeted by training partners Cyrille Diabate, Luke Rockhold, Ricardo Feliciano, Heath Sims and Tarec Saffiedine.

Dana White is set to make a "Special Announcement" about UFC 151 on a conference call at 2 p.m. ET. Check back to SWR for more news on the UFC 151 fight card.
