The LA Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder are playing live on the NBA schedule on Wednesday and the game from ESPN streaming on the WatchESPN website and is from Chesapeake Energy Arena as OKC hosts Chris Paul and Los Angeles and this has Kevin Durant out for the team as Russell Westbrook continues to dominate.

The Thunder come in at eighth in the western conference playoffs picture and every win is important now as they try to make the postseason. Kevin Durant and Westbrook were injured early on and that put the team in a hole and they have been able to pull out of it. The Thunder now have Westbrook killing it, as he has had five triple doubles over the past stretch and this comes with Durant out with an injury.

OKC comes in after a nice win against the Raptors and that game saw Westbrook drop 30 points and add 17 assists and they will next play against the Timberwolves after the Clippers. The team comes in at second in the northwest division and they are ranked first in the league in rebounds per game and 10th overall in points per contest.

The Clippers have been dealing with Blake Griffin being out and that has left Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan to carry things. The team saw Jordan add 17 rebounds and Paul 15 assists in their last game and they won over the Wolves in that matchup. The Clippers will next face the Mavericks on the road after playing the Thunder and they come in at second in the Pacific division behind the Warriors with 41 wins this season.

The Clippers come into the game ranked second in scoring this season and they are third in assists per game. The Clippers are looked at as a contender, but right now the Warriors are the favorites in the west after how well they have played overall this season. Griffin has continued to be sidelined and that means two of the highest profile players are out for these teams in the matchup. Durant has played in 27 games this season and the team has won six of nine with him out lately, but they need him back for any chance at making a playoff run.

Westbrook has been amazing lately and the Thunder come in at 8-0 when Westbrook has fewer than 25 shots and he has just been killing it lately. Westbrook has put up triple doubles and he is showing the Thunder what he can do when he is the man in charge, averaging 36 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists over the past six games.
