The LA Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers are playing live on the NBA schedule on Sunday and the matchup from ABC is streaming online from WatchESPN and comes as LeBron James and Kyrie Irving host the Lakers as they are on the Grammys road trip from Los Angeles at Quicken Loans Arena past 3:30 pm ET.

The Cavaliers come in after snapping their long winning streak to the Pacers and now they are looking to bounce back against the Lakers. The team had won 12 games in a row and finally fell to the Pacers and they will next play against the Miami Heat on Wednesday. The Cavs have been playing much better overall and now they are in contention in the central division after being under .500 a few weeks ago. The team is right there will the Bulls now after winning 12 of 13 and they come in after a close loss to Indiana.

The team saw Kyrie Irving lead the way with 29 points and now they have the chance to bounce back against the Lakers. The team added Timofey Mozgov, JR Smith and Iman Shumpert in trades this season and they have made an impact, with Mozgov giving the team a strong defensive presence. The Cavs are now ranked in the top 10 in scoring this season and after being in the bottom half of the league all year, they are now in the top 15 in points allowed per game.

The Cavaliers will play against the Miami Heat next and the Lakers come in after a loss in overtime against the Magic. The team is 13-37 on the season and they are fifth in the Pacific division and they will next play against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday and that will be their home matchup after the long road trip. The team is ranked 29th in points per game allowed and 19th in scoring and now they will try and stop the Cavaliers from starting another streak. The Cavs are looking to stay in good form heading into the All-Star break and they have been playing as good as anyone over the last couple weeks. Cleveland has had some struggles this season, including a stretch when they lost nine of 10 games and that is they type of stretch they want to avoid having again.

James has been battling some more injuries as of late and he comes in after missing time during that bad stretch and his return helped the winning streak. The team has won two of 10 games with James out of the lineup and he recently missed a game with a wrist injury and now they could be dealing with him missing time again. Kevin Love has bounced back from some struggles, while Kyrie Irving has been stepping up alongside James.
