Man United comes in after a couple tough results and they will be looking to get things going after a draw in the FA Cup fourth round with Cambridge that saw the team stay scoreless. They come in after a win over QPR and a loss to Southampton and that was at Old Trafford. The team will try and bounce back and Manchester United will be without midfielder Michael Carrick for the match, as he will be out for up to a month with an injury.
The team comes in with Ashley Cole on his way back from an injury, while Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling may finally get back on the pitch as well. Matthew Upson has been dealing with a foot injury and could play for Leicester and this is a match for Man United to get things going again at home, as they want to be back in the Champions League. This is a clear mismatch and the team can't leave points on the pitch again in this game.
Man United is fourth on the league table and they are now behind Southampton, while Man City and Chelsea have the top two spots. Chelsea and Manchester City are playing at Stamford Bridge this weekend and that is a big match for the EPL standings as well. Manchester United wants to be back in the Champs League and they are on their way and now Leicester comes in playing well, as they have won four of the last six across all competitions and have some pep in their step, but Old Trafford id always tough.
The team previously went 13 matches at one point this season after winning over Man United at home and now Man U is looking for some revenge. Man United was disappointed at the scoreless performance against Cambridge and that will motivate the team to play better as well. Man United has lost just once in the last 14 matches across all competitions and now they have the chance to get another, although they have scored five goals total in the last six matches in that span.
Man United comes in looking to get some points and Juan Mata could use a bounce back game for Louis Van Gaal. The team wants to take care of business at Old Trafford and now they have the chance.
