The NY Giants are looking to rebound in 2015 and the team could look at options on the free agent market like Ndamukong Suh, Mark Ingram, Frank Gore or Eddie Royal to help Eli Manning and this comes as the team has Jason Pierre-Paul, Antrel Rolle, Walter Thurmond and a number of other players hitting free agency.

The Giants had another losing season in 2014 and missed the playoffs for the third straight year and despite that skid, John Mara opted to keep Tom Coughlin as head coach. According to ESPN.com, Mara said that the team wants to bring back Jason Pierre-Paul in the offseason and that the use of the franchise tag would be considered if a long term deal isn't reached. Rolle and JPP are the top two free agent players for the Giants defense and Jerry Reese will have to decide if they are worth bringing back.

The Giants should have a decent amount of cap space, as they likely will cut some players and restructure Eli Manning's deal with an extension and that could give them room to bring Pierre-Paul back. JPP comes in after having a bounce back year and while the defense overall was not good, Pierre-Paul was much more productive than he was in 2013. JPP has 12.5 sacks this season after putting up just eight over the previous two years and now he will be looking to cash in.

Pierre-Paul is 26-years-old and came into the NFL as a raw prospect that the Giants turned into a breakout star in 2012, but he has not been consistent over the past few years. JPP had 16.5 sacks in 2011 when the Giants won the Super Bowl and now Reese will have to decide if he will be the Pierre-Paul of that year moving forward, or the player who had just 8.5 sacks in 2012-2013. Suh likely will be out of the price range for the Giants no matter what, but if the team signs back Pierre-Paul that will keep them out of the conversation.

The Giants were ranked 23rd in the league in rushing yards per game last season and that is one area where they need to improve going forward. The team signed Rashad Jennings in free agency last season and found a strong young player in Andre Williams, but there is a chance the team could sign another back. Jennings missed time this season with an injury and forced Williams into a starting role and some players on the market this season the Giants could consider include Mark Ingram, CJ Spiller and Frank Gore.

The Giants offense was hampered by the loss of David Wilson to an injury that forced him into retirement and getting a back like that into the offense could be huge for Eli Manning. Ben McAdoo had a solid season coming in as offensive coordinator and Manning bounced back after throwing 27 interceptions last year, putting up 30 touchdowns for the first time in a few years. The Giants ranked seventh in passing yards per game and they should be even better once Odell Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz get on the field together for Manning.
