The Washington Redskins have Kirk Cousins and Robert Griffin III on the roster and with RG3 likely to start, many think that the team could move Cousins in a trade, including former QB Joe Theismann and if the team explores a move, clubs like the Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, Buccaneers and Titans could be interested in making a trade.

According to Pro Football Talk, Theismann said that he thinks the smart move for the team is to trade Cousins, especially if they plan on starting Griffin once again. PFT reported earlier in the offseason that Cousins was looking for a trade if he wasn't given a chance to start, but Cousins later came out to shoot down that rumors. The Browns could be interested after almost trading for Cousins last year, while the Jets and Buccaneers also have QB issues.

Griffin III had an up and down year and while he is likely to return, he could be an option, while reports have Kirk Cousins looking for a trade if he doesn't get the chance to compete. The Browns ranked 20th in passing yards per game and 17th in rushing yards per game last season and they will have some money to spend on the cap and a double digit amount of draft picks to work with. The Browns won over the Falcons in November, but they lost six of their last seven games and now have some major issues to work on heading into 2015.

Pro Football Talk and other outlets picked up on a story from Cousins that said he would like to be traded if he isn't given the chance to start, but that was later rebuffed by local writers. Jason Reid wrote that what Cousins said was taken out of context and that he is just hoping to get the chance to compete for the starting job next year. Throughout this season there have been reports about Cousins and his future with the team and he could be moved if Gruden and Snyder go with Griffin as the starter. The Redskins went just 4-12 this season under Gruden and once again finished in the bottom of the NFC East.

Griffin did not have a good season and while he looked better down the stretch than earlier in the year, he did not do much to prove to the Redskins that he should be the starter hands down. Both Griffin and Cousins were drafted the same year and many speculated that Cousins would eventually be traded down the line. Brian Hoyer is a free agent and if he signs somewhere else, Cousins could be an option. The team was interested in Cousins before drafting Manziel and they could likely get him for a mid-draft pick and they have multiple picks in the first round and the most in the draft next season.

The Redskins ended up 11th in passing yards per game this season despite the struggles at QB and now Gruden and Snyder have some major decisions to make. The defense needs work and the team needs to be more consistent on offense and they have to do a better job of controlling the ball and keeping things secure with turnovers. The Cowboys, Eagles and Giants all should be solid next season, making things even tougher for the Redskins.
