The Duke Blue Devils enter ACC play being undefeated on the season and ranked No. 2 in the nation. Last season they failed to get a win in their opener of conference play, breaking a six-game streak. They are hoping to avoid the same fate on Saturday as they prepare to face Boston College while keeping their perfect record together as they chase the Kentucky Wildcats for the top spot in the rankings.

Duke is currently dominating in a number of statistical categories in the NCAA as they aim for their ninth 13-0 season while extending their leading home win streak to 41 games. At this moment, Duke is one of six unbeaten teams as everyone begins their stretch of conference play. The roster currently ranks second in field-goal percentage which is helping them win every game so far by at least 10 points. It is the first time they have won 12 straight all by double-digit points.

Freshmen are leading the way for Duke so far this season. Jahlil Okafor, Justice Winslow and Tyus Jones are the first-year starters for Duke that dominating the court. Okafor is already a candidate for player of the year while leading the league with a 68.5 shooting percentage as Duke shooting 52.9 percent overall. They are fresh off games where they posted a 55.8 shooting percentage against Toledo and Wofford, both we wins. Duke is hoping to avoid the 79-77 loss to the Fight Irish last season in their ACC opener, but the weak defense of Boston Colllege should help avoid that.

The Eagles are currently allowing opponents to shoot 42.8 percent which is the ACC's second worst mark this year. Meanwhile, Duke is putting up 93.3 points per game at home this season which leads all major conferences. Boston College is being led by a ground of seniors as Olivier Hanlan continues to lead in scoring. Aaron Brown is also putting up big numbers, averaging 16.1 points per game.
