The Kansas State Wildcats and UCLA Bruins are playing in the Alamo Bowl game on Friday night and the matchup from the Alamodome in San Antonio starts at 6:45 pm ET and will be on TV from ESPN and the WatchESPN website as Brett Hundley takes on KSU in a top 25 matchup.

The Bruins come into the game after a loss against Stanford and they finished the season with 9-3 record and now are ranked 14th in the nation. Kansas State is 9-3 as well and are ranked 11th and this is another chance for the team to prove why it was in the mix for the Big 12 title. The Bruins had high expectations and went 3-1 in their matchups with top 25 teams, but they only went 6-3 in the Pac-12 this season.

The team had one of the most productive offensive units in the nation this season and they scored 32 points per game. Hundley had over 3000 yards passing this season and had 21 touchdowns along with 500 yards rushing. The team had won five straight games before the loss against Stanford and before that run they opened 4-2 after winning their first four games of the season.

Kansas State comes in after the tough loss against Baylor and they are one of the top offensive teams passing the ball in the nation. The team is ranked 20th with over 280 passing yards per game and they are scoring 35 points per game this season. The team won two straight before losing to Baylor and they also lost to TCU and Auburn this season, with all of those coming with those teams in the top 10.

Kansas State was 7-1 to start the season and they opened 5-0 in the conference, but losses to the Bears and Horned Frogs did them in. The team was ranked 24th in the nation in points allowed per game with 21 and they will have a tough time with Hundley and the Bruins. Jake Waters has had a strong season for the Wildcats and he has put up an average 331 yards over the last three games and he went for 3,163 yards and 20 touchdowns this season. Waters is a dual threat like Hundley and he will tough for the Bruins defense to deal with
