The Maryland Terrapins and Stanford Cardinal are playing in the Foster Farms Bowl on the college football bowl schedule on Tuesday and the matchup from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara starts at 10 pm ET on ESPN and streaming online from the WatchESPN website as the Big Ten and Pac-12 teams face off.

Stanford comes into the game after going 7-5 this season and they last won against the UCLA Bruins on the road before playing in this bowl game. Stanford went 4-1 against the Pac-12 North this season but just 1-5 against top 25 teams and now they will try and win against Maryland. Kevin Hogan and Ty Montgomery come in as the team leaders and they will be the main focus for the Terrapins defense.

Stanford is ranked second in the nation in points against per game this season with 16 points allowed and that makes this a very tough matchup for the Terrapins. Hogan had 2600 yards this season and led the team, while Montgomery had 604 yards receiving to lead Stanford. The team won two straight games to finish the season after losing back to back games with Oregon and Utah, which came after a win against Oregon State.

Stanford finished behind Oregon in the divisional standings and Maryland comes in after their first season in the Big Ten after going 4-4 in the conference. The team comes in after scoring nearly 30 points per game this season and they come in after a loss against Rutgers by three points and they finished at 0-2 against the top 25 this year. Maryland ended the season losing two of the final three games, including to Michigan State and the Scarlet Knights.

Stanford comes in after winning back to back Pac-12 titles and they now will be in the single digits for wins for the first time in a few years. Former head coach Jim Harbaugh jumped back to the college ranks and now David Shaw could be one of the names targeted for jobs in the NFL this offseason. Hogan has played well towards the end of the season and he will be the key for Stanford in this matchup.
