The Cleveland Cavaliers and Atlanta Hawks are playing live on the NBA schedule on Tuesday and the matchup starts at 7:30 pm ET at Philips Arena and the matchup with LeBron James and the first place Hawks is on NBATV and has the Cavs looking to bounce back after a horrible loss at home against the Pistons.

The Cavaliers come into the game after a very bad loss to the Pistons and that was very embarrassing, as Detroit is one of the worst teams in the league. The loss was at home and was one of the worst for any LeBron James team ever and now reports have come out that some players are not responding to first year head coach David Blatt. The team likely will bounce back and James predictably came out to downplay the reports, but right now things are not going totally smooth in Cleveland.

James and the team are looking for another big man in a trade with the Anderson Varejao injury, as he will be out for the season. The team comes in struggling on defense and while they are 14th in points allowed, their defensive efficiency is low and they really need to bounce back. The team lost to the Hawks earlier in the season and now can get some revenge and this is a good test, as Atlanta has been one of the best teams in the league this year.

The Cavaliers come into the game after a 23 point loss to the Pistons and they saw Kevin Love lead the team with 20 points, while Tristan Thompson had 11 rebounds. The team now has the 22-8 Hawks and they will next host the Bucks on the schedule. The Cavs are scoring 102 points per game and they are ranked ninth in assists per game, but they are just 25th in rebounding this season and now with Varejao injured they need even more support. James is averaging 25 points per game and he needs to do more and the Cavs need him to continue playing at a superstar level now that he is 30.

The Hawks come into the game first in their division over the Wizards and they have played very well as of late. The team is 22-8 on the season and they come in after a win against the Bucks and they will play against the Jazz next. Jeff Teague led the team with 25 points and seven assists in the win over Milwaukee and he has been the leading scorer all season.

The Hawks come in ranked second overall in assists per game and fifth in points allowed per game and they are averaging 101 points per game. The team has been excellent and this could easily be a playoff preview and based on the way these two teams are playing right now, Atlanta looks better despite Cleveland having LeBron.
