The New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears are playing on the Monday night football schedule on ESPN for Week 15 and the matchup from Soldier Field starts up past 8:30 pm ET and will be streaming on WatchESPN and has Drew Brees looking to get the NFC South lead against Jay Cutler and Matt Forte and the Bears come in basically out of the playoffs race and they will be officially done with another loss.

The Saints have been very up and down this season, but because of how bad the NFC South is, the team has the chance to win the division. The Saints lost three straight home games before winning against the Steelers on the road and they lost again after that to make it three losses in four games at home. The team has lost four of five overall, with one of their wins coming on the road and that is a very rare occurrence for this team.

Brees has been having a strong season once again, but Jimmy Graham has not lived up to his usual standards and he will be looking for a breakout game on Monday. The team comes in ranked in the top three in passing and the top eight in rushing yards per game, but the defense has been a mess. The Saints rank near the bottom in passing and rushing yards per game allowed this season and they have the chance to take control in the division with a win here.

The Saints have been struggling this season to play consistently on defense this season and now they have a Bears team with the same record but not the same playoff prospects. The Bears come in to the game after a bad loss against the Dallas Cowboys and they will matchup with the Detroit Lions next Sunday and they are basically playing for pride and jobs. The team ranks 31st in the league in passing yards allowed per game and that is a bad matchup with the Saints and they will have to find a way to shut things down.

The weather could be a major factor on Monday night, as the weather is very chilly in Chicago and this will have the Saints outdoors after being able to play at home for a long stretch over the past 30 days. The Bears have lost two in a row after winning two in a row and they have now lost five of the last seven games. The team will miss the playoffs again and now there could be some big changes next season for the Bears.
