Dec 05, 2014 07:19 PM EST

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors are playing live on the NBA schedule from the Air Canada Centre and the game starts up at 7:30 pm ET and has LeBron and the Cavs looking to get some revenge on the first place Rapts and Kyle Lowry, as they won over the team earlier in the month and this is a matchup of two of the top teams in the east.

The Cavaliers come into the game after a nice win over the Knicks, as they were down in the fourth quarter and rebounded to get the victory. The team now plays against the Raptors and the Nets next on the road and those games will be Friday and Monday. The Cavaliers are second in the central division with a 10-7 record and they are on a nice winning streak and will look to continue it out of Cleveland. The team comes in scoring 102 points per game and they have started to get into a groove as a team.

The Cavaliers got a great game from Kyrie Irving on Thursday night and the team won by three after he scored 37 points, while Kevin Love had 11 rebounds and James had 12 assists. The trio is the best Big 3 in the league and the way they perform together could lead to a championship run this season. The Cavs are matching up with one of the best teams in the east this season, as the Raptors are leading the Atlantic division with 15 wins and now the team hosts the Cavaliers.

Kyle Lowry is leading the team in scoring with 20 points per game and he has played well to start, while the team is getting by without DeMar DeRozan after he was injured. The Raptors come in after a win against the Jazz and they will next play against the Denver Nuggets on the schedule. The team is ranked second in points per game in the league with 109 points and they are allowing 99 points per game this season on defense.

The team got 39 points from Kyle Lowry in the game against the Jazz and he has proven to be worth the money after signing with the Raptors in the offseason after he became a free agent. The Cavs have now won five games in a row since they had a four game losing streak and they have started to get things together and now over this next stretch they have the chance to close the gap with the Bulls. The team plays three of the next four on the road, including against the Raptors, Nets and Thunder, with a home game against Toronto in the middle of that.

Lowry and Irving are playing as good as anyone in the east right now and the Raptors have been very strong offensively. This game could be high scoring and also could be a preview of the playoffs. The Raptors have turned into a very solid team after the surprising season they had last year and now Lowry is averaging a career high amount in points per game.
