Derrick Rose was strong and had 10 assists in the game and the team now faces a four win Hornets team that has been a mess. The team may trade Lance Stephenson after just signing him and they have not played well at home this year. The Bulls have the Warriors next at home and it comes after their massive circus road trip.

The Bulls come into the game averaging 102 points per contest and they are ranked 12th in the league and they have started to play better on defense overall as a team. Gasol and Joakim Noah has the team in ninth place in rebounds per game and the team is also ranked 10th in assists per game. Jimmy Butler has played at an All-Star level and he is earning himself a major pay day with the way he has been playing this season.

Butler is leading the team in points and he is one of the league leaders in minutes and now he looks very smart by turning down an extension from the Bulls. Butler will be getting paid and he comes in averaging 22 points per game and it looks like nearly everything in his game has been improved. The Bulls lost after a bad foul from Kirk Hinrich against the Mavs and now they are looking to bounce back after falling to 11-7, although they are still in first place in the central division. The Bulls know the Cavs are coming and whatever lead they build now could be big towards the end of the season.

The Hornets have lost nine straight games and now they have one of the best teams in the east coming in. The team lost to the Atlanta Hawks last game and now they have the Bulls before a matchup with the NY Knicks. The Knicks have not been good either and now the Hornets will try and get off the mat with this game on Wednesday. The team has not been playing up to expectations after making the playoffs last season and at this rate they will be back in the lottery.

The Bulls just had a wild road trip that took the team all the way west for some Cali matchups and they came back through the central before games in the east against the Celtics and the Nets. The team returned home to lose to the Mavericks and now they are in Charlotte before going back to the United Center. The team next plays against the Warriors, Nets and Blazers before a road matchup with the Miami Heat.
