Colt McCoy Fantasy: DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon Washington Redskins Top Picks After Robert Griffin III Benched, Alfred Morris Improves as Niles Paul Sleeper Week 13

It is officially the Colt McCoy show in Washington. The Redskins are turning once again to the third-string quarterback who is responsible for two of their three wins on the season. McCoy sees the starting role after Robert Griffin III was benched after poor play and Kirk Cousins was demoted. So what does this mean for the remaining players on the team and their fantasy value?

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Redskins are preparing to start McCoy against the Indianapolis Colts over Griffin after the third-year pro struggled heavily in his last two starts. The quarterback played well in his short stint as a starter in place of the injured Griffin. He rallied the team to a win over the Tennessee Titans. He then got the win over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. In the two games that he has won for Washington, McCoy has gone 35 of 42 in passing for 427 yards, one touchdowns and just one interception.

Most of the Redskins' offensive performers have been fantasy busts thanks to the poor play of Griffin. Does McCoy help improve them? DeSean Jackson's numbers have been pedestrian this season. In Week 12, he had just two catches for 39 yards while putting up just 74 yards total in his last two games. McCoy's strength appears to be accuracy. He went 11 of 12 against the Titans which should help Jackson get more catches along with Pierre Garcon. Jackson says the team is simply just worried about improving and getting a win.

"We have a job to do, which is go out there and compete and play at a high level, and we're focused on ourselves," Jackson said, via the team website. "It doesn't matter who we're playing. Throughout the whole year, I think we had a lot of mistakes, a lot (of) games where we shot ourselves in the foot. The remainder of our season [the goal] is to go out there and just do your best game on tape ... You got to play for the name on your jersey and the organization, so hopefully we can go through it [on] a good note."

Along with Garcon and Jackson, Alfred Morris will need to step up big time with McCoy under center. The running back put up one of his best games against the San Francisco 49ers and is hoping that momentum will carry him into another strong performance in Week 13.
