Ole Miss has seen a steep fall from grace over the past few weeks that has caused the team to fall out of contention for the College Football Playoffs. The Rebels suffered big division help after Mississippi State and Auburn lost this past weekend giving Ole Miss hope for the last two games. The team no longer controls their own destiny and will need a lot of help, but there is still a chance for the Rebels.

Ole Miss would first need to win their final two games of the season. That will no be an easy task even if one of the teams is Arkansas. They hit the road to face an improved Razorbacks team fresh off getting a win over LSU and then beat Mississippi State in the egg bowl. Not to mention, the team is dealing with so many injuries across the roster. Leading wide receiver Laquon Treadwell and linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche are both out for the remainder of the season. They will get back Laremy Tunsil and Cody Prewitt.

Ole Miss might have been excited to play Arkansas at the beginning of the year since they have been the SEC punching bag lately. However, the Razorbacks are looking good coming off a win to LSU, breaking their 17-game losing streak to SEC opponents. The win comes after holding both Alabama and Mississippi State to tight games. Arkansas' success is coming on the ground. The team is benefitting from Jonathan Williams and Alex Collins who are dominating the run game. Williams has 932 yards on the season with 11 touchdowns while Collins has 886 yards and 11 touchdowns as well. Running behind an offensive line where the average weight is 328 yards certainly helps.

Ole Miss has struggled against the run in recent games. They gave up 264 yards on the ground to LSU before giving up 248 yards to Auburn. Last year, quarterback Bo Wallace had his best game of his career against Arkansas going 27 of 34 for 416 yards and three touchdowns.
