The NY Rangers and Edmonton Oilers are playing live on the NHL schedule on Sunday and the matchup from Madison Square Garden is on at 6 pm ET from the NHL Network as New York tries to bounce back from a loss and they are now fifth in the division standings as Rick Nash, Martin St. Louis and Henrik Lundqvist take the ice.
The Rangers come into the game after a loss against the Toronto Maple Leafs and they will next host the Pittsburgh Penguins in their next matchup. The Rangers won over the Penguins in the playoffs last season after being down 3-1 in the series and that was a major upset and helped propel the Rangers into the eastern finals before they advanced to the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Rangers have been off to a solid start and Rick Nash has been fantastic and they come in at 10th in the league in goals per game.
