The West Virginia Mountaineers and Texas Longhorns are playing live on the Fox Sports 1 college football schedule and the game from Royal Texas Memorial Stadium at 3:30 pm ET and comes as the two teams are trying to fight for position in the Big 12 conference and WVU is ranked number 23 in the nation and looking to bounce back after a loss to TCU.
The Mountaineers come in as one of the top passing teams in the nation and they have the Kansas State Wildcats after playing against the Longhorns. West Virginia is 6-3 on the season and they come in after a close loss to the Horned Frogs and now they have two of the next three on the road with Kansas State and Iowa State coming up next after Longhorns. The team ends the season with Iowa State and they opened the season with a loss to Alabama and now will try to finish strong.
West Virginia comes in after a loss against TCU and they come in after a four game winning streak before that and they now have Texas. The team is ranked 22nd in the nation in scoring and they are up against Texas, who comes in after a loss against Texas Tech last week. Texas has now won two of three games and they will next play against West Virginia, Oklahoma State and TCU.
