The Kansas City Royals won over the Baltimore Orioles in the ALCS for a 3-0 series and that came after the Giants won over the Cardinals for a 2-1 NLCS series lead, putting Kansas City and San Francisco in the drivers seat and KC looks like the team of destiny, as they won 2-1 and have not lost during the postseason this year and can clinch a World Series appearance on Wednesday.

The Royals seemingly cannot lose and now they have won seven straight games in the playoffs and they might as well pinch their ticket to the World Series. The Royals will have home field advantage if they make it into the World Series and they are now just one win away at 3-0 in the ALCS. The team got a strong start from Jeremy Guthrie and now the Orioles will have to do something no other team has ever done to stay alive, which is win four in a row after losing the first two at home.

The Giants won a tight game with the Giants on Tuesday and now they are up 2-1 heading into Game 4 of the series on Wednesday. Sergio Romo got the win and Randy Choate was the loser, as he threw the ball away to allow the Giants to get the winning run. The Giants won despite having three less hits than the Cardinals and the error at the end in the 10th was a costly one and now San Francisco has the chance to make it 3-1 in Game 4. The walk off error puts the Cardinals in a tough situation and now they will have Shelby Miller on the mound against Ryan Vogelsong for the matchup, while Madison Bumgarner and Adam Wainwright likely will go on Thursday.

The Royals have been just simply unbeatable this postseason and they have still not fallen to anyone and they could complete their second straight sweep with a win on Wednesday. Kansas City still has James Shields to pitch and the team just looks like they have the swagger to take things all the way and if they run into the Giants, it will be two teams that seemingly can win any type of game.

The Giants now lead the Cardinals 2-1 in the National League championship series, while the Royals are up with a commanding 3-0 lead on the Orioles in the American League championship series, The next games will be on Wednesday with TBS and FOX Sports 1 handling the coverage, with the Giants playing the late game against the Cardinals and the Orioles playing the Royals in the afternoon game.
