Alabama made mistakes on every side of the football last Saturday that cost them a win against Mississippi. In the ever-competitive SEC West, all but one team is destined to have a loss given how much every team is beating up on everyone, so the race becomes to be the best one-loss team and Alabama still has hope that is them. They will have to bounce back is that is going to be the case as they head to Fayetteville to face off against Arkansas.

Alabama dropped to No. 7 in the ranking after ending their final two drives with a fumble and then an interception to give Ole Miss two late scores for the win. Now, Alabama will have to win out their remaining schedule if they intend on getting into the College Football Playoffs. The task will be a challenge. The team is now without versatile running back Kenyan Drake who is out for the season with a broken leg suffered in the loss. They will also be playing without Denzel Devall who had leg surgery while center Ryan Kelly is suffering from a sprained knee.

Ball security plagued the Tide last week. The team had two turnovers against Ole Miss while having another four against Florida. They are also struggling with penalties, putting them in third-and-long situations more times than not. The Tide suffered losses in their last two title runs and managed to bounce back just fine. The team has had their leadership come into question this week, but remain confident that they team can put things back together against Arkansas.

The Razorbacks are a hot and cold team. They fell to Texas A&M in a close overtime shootout. That extended their losing streak in the SEC to 14 games. The team has an offense coming together. They are averaging 44.6 points per game and intend to use that to challenge the Tide on Saturday.
