Aleksandr Kerzhakov of Russia celebrates scoring his team's first goal during the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Group H match between Russia and South Korea at Arena Pantanal on June 17, 2014 in Cuiaba, Brazil."

Sweden and Russia are playing live on the Euro 2016 Qualifying schedule on Wednesday and the game is from Nya Ullevi Stadion starting up at 2:45 ET and 7:45 pm local time and the home matchup in Group G with Zlatan Ibrahimovic has these two teams looking to keep things going in European Championship Qualifying and it comes ahead of the Russian side getting ready to host the next World Cup.

The two teams previously matched up in the Euro tournament back in 2008 and that saw Russia win the matchup and now the Swedish side is looking to win here. Zlatan Ibrahimovic comes in as the all-time scorer for the team after putting in two goals against Estonia earlier in September and the team comes in after their last match against Austria after that friendly. The two teams matched up in the group stage and now they are playing in qualifying.

Fabio Capello is the Russian boss and he has pressure on him as the team hosts the next World Cup, as they would like to have a strong showing in the Euros. The first match for Sweden ended with a draw and now they are looking for some points and if Ibrahimovic is missing, the team will be without its best scorer. Ibrahimovic can create his own shot and he is the leading scorer for the nation among the team and he has missed time with PSG coming into the qualifying and that is why he could be out.

Russia was able to win 4-0 against Liechtenstein and they are trying to have a good performance after not winning any games in the World Cup. Group G could end up tight and that makes this tournament matchup even more important as the teams try to qualify. Back in 2002 Ibrahimovic scored a goal in a friendly against the team and now Sweden comes in having won two of the last three matches since the early 90s and they are looking for one again. Ibrahimovic has eight goals in 21 matches in Euro qualifying and the team is hoping that he can play.

Ibrahimovic has four goals against San Marino so that leaves just four in those other games and he needs to be on the field for Sweden to have their best chance. Russia has players with some experience, but they are looking for players to step up and they don't have anyone apart from Alexander Kerkhakov who have scored more than eight goals. Sweden is the slight favorite and if Ibrahimovic, the team will live with a draw so they are least can get some points.
