Fantasy Football Start or Sit Vikings Packers: Teddy Bridgewater, Jerick McKinnon, Cordarrelle Patterson, Matt Asiata, Eddie Lacy, Greg Jennings Options

The Packers and Vikings play Thursday and some fantasy football start or sit advice for the week 5 game has Teddy Bridgewater, Jerick McKinnon, Eddie Lacy, Cordarrelle Patterson, Matt Asiata, Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Jarius Wright, Greg Jennings, James Starks, Andrew Quarless and Christian Ponder as players to watch for the matchup.

Bridgewater comes into the game as a game time decisions and that means fantasy owners will have to judge early on whether to play certain guys. If Bridgewater can't go, it means Christian Ponder will be under center and while Patterson is a strong START option for this game, it could change with Ponder in. The same goes for Wright and Jennings, as Ponder has shown he is very inconsistent and fantasy owners are hoping that it's Bridgewater under center.

No matter who starts for the Vikings, fantasy owners should be comfortable starting Jerick McKinnon and Matt Asiata. Last week both players had strong games with Bridgewater under center and if Ponder starts, it likely means that McKinnon and Asiata will get plenty of carries because they probably will run the ball more. If one had to choose, go with Asiata as the START since McKinnon is coming in slightly banged up on a short week.

Lacy has been up and down so far this season and he is off to a slow start, but owners should START him in this matchup, as he is due for a big game. Lacy had over 1100 yards last season and once he gets going he should be able to put up some very solid numbers.

McKinnon comes in after rushing for 132 yards last week and he was limited in practice during the week, which makes him more of a flex option than an RB START. This season he has 142 yards in four games and Asiata has been the main goal line back, so he has gotten more TDs this season. Asiata is the starter over McKinnon and that gives him a better chance to score and put up numbers. The Packers have not been good against the run this season so far and that could mean a big game for these guys. Asiata has three touchdowns this season and he could be in line for another one on Thursday night.

Bridgewater and his status will come about 90 minutes before the game and that is tough for fantasy owners not just with the QB, but with his receivers as well. Bridgewater is an accurate passer from his college days and so far he has a 62 percent completion rate and no picks this season early on. Greg Jennings has been off to a slow start, but he had 72 yards in the last game for the Vikings and he comes in with 15 catches for 204 yards and he could be extra motivated against his old team. It may not be a Steve Smith revenge game, but START Jennings.

Wright is the number three WR for the Vikings and while he had a great game last week, it will be hard to put up those numbers again. Wright had eight catches on 10 targets for 132 yards and if Bridgewater out, definitely sit Wright.

--Start: Asiata, Jennings, Bridgewater if active, Lacy, Rodgers, Nelson, Cobb

--Sit: McKinnon, Quarless, James Starks, Jarrett Boykin, Jarius Wright
