Manchester United and Leicester City are playing on the English Premier League schedule on Sunday and the match is one of the early games and it will be from King Power Stadium starting up at 8:30 am ET on CNBC for the TV coverage and on the NBC Sports Network Live Extra website and they are looking to move up on the EPL standings.
Manchester United got their first win of the season last week against Queens Park Rangers and now they are facing off with Leicester City and they are 11th on the EPL table standings. Man Utd had a tough season last year and now they have Louis Van Gaal coming in along with a number of new players and while they have been off to a slow start, the last performance was promising. The team scored four goals and now they have this match away before heading back to Old Trafford for two games on the schedule.
Man Utd lost their first match of the season to Swansea City and after that they pulled off two draws and now they are coming in after a win against QPR. Man United returns to Old Trafford next with West Ham and Everton, while West Brom is next on the schedule. The Man United and Chelsea matchup is a big one coming up, while Man City is right after that and those will be big tests for the team in back to back weeks.
Chelsea comes in as the top team on the Premier League schedule and they have 12 points and the best goal differential, while Southampton and Aston Villa are next. The top of the standings has some new teams with Arsenal moving up and now Swane City is in fifth position ahead of Man City. Manchester United is looking to move up and they are just behind Liverpool and Hull City in the standings.
