The Chicago Bears have Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall banged up and after missing practice this week, fantasy football owners are looking for start options in case they can't go and names like Santonio Holmes, Martellus Bennett and Josh Morgan are free agent pickups owners could look at over Marquess Wilson, who is injured for the Bears heading into Week 2.

According to Pro Football Talk, Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall are both day to day with injuries and while they are likely to play on Sunday, fantasy football owners should be aware of what the next injury reports say about the two WRs. Jeffery and Marshall are top starters for fantasy owners and obviously the Bears want them active and Jay Cutler benefits from having them on the field as well. Santonio Holmes is the logical pickup option for the Bears, while Bennett also could get a boost.

Holmes was picked up after he was released by the Jets and he comes in after making two catches for 21 yards in the opener against the Buffalo Bills. Holmes is a smart option to pick up for any owners of Jeffery and Marshall if they have room on the bench, as he could end up being a valuable addition if they have to miss time at any point. Alshon and Marshall are the two top fantasy options along with Matt Forte for the Bears and after losing to the Bills, they now have a very tough game coming against the 49ers, who started off with a win against the Dallas Cowboys on the road.

Jeffery started the season with five catches for 71 yards and this comes after he had a breakout season in 2013, going for nearly 90 catches and over 1400 yards. Jeffery and Marshall make a great pair and Jeffery was basically as good as Marshall, going for 89 catches last season and 1421 yards, while he also added seven touchdowns to combine with Marshall for 19 TDs on the season. Cutler has two great targets and even if they are not 100 percent, they give the Bears a better chance to win when they are on the field.

Marshall is also a bit banged up with a hamstring and while he likely will play, owners should be cautious, as those can linger. Marshall had eight catches for 71 yards and a touchdown in the game on Sunday and he comes in after back to back fantastic seasons, going for 118 and 100 catches over the past two years. Last season he had 12 Tds and 1295 yards and the Bears need him to be successful. Marshall is a big dude with great hands and PPR owners are hoping he doesn't miss any time.

Holmes is not a great option overall, but if Jeffery or Marshall miss time, he is the smart pickup. Holmes had two catches in the game on Sunday and he will be getting more looks if anyone misses time. The Bears have a great offense and they need both Marshall and Jeffery healthy to win this year and losing either of them for any amount of time is tough.
