The Fantasy Football Week 2 matchups start Thursday and some start or sit options heading into the weekend include Cordarrelle Patterson, Isaiah Crowell, Terrance West, Larry Donnell, James Starks and Justin Forsett, as some of those names could have big weeks and if they are on the bench of the free agent market, fantasy owners should look into starting those players.

Patterson came into the season as a major sleeper option after a strong rookie year and now he has shown that he has big play ability and is a fantasy starter each week. Crowell and West now have the chance to make up for Ben Tate being injured, while the Ravens are going to use a combination of Justin Forsett and Bernard Pierce to get things done now that humanitarian Ray Rice is out of the picture.

James Starks has value in deeper leagues and after Eddie Lacy dealt with a concussion in the opening game of the season. Donnell is unproven, but he showed that he can be a solid TE option for the Giants, but that likely will depend on how good bad Eli Manning is and right now that is a tough debate. Another name to start is Brandon Cooks, as he had a nice game to start his career and he should be perfectly suited for the Saints offense.

Terrance West comes in a major sleeper this year and that was before Tate went down with an injury and now he could be a nice option to start once things pick up in Week 2. Tate likely will be limited no matter what happens and that makes West a must pick up player for any owners of Tate and anyone in need of an RB. West has speed and he produced in college, going for over 2500 yards and 41, yes, 41 touchdowns last season. This season he had 16 carries in the first game for 100 yards in his first pro start and now he could be the top option if Tate is sidelined during the season.

Crowell had a solid game for a back where he is on the depth chart and with Tate injured, he could get even more. The team gave him give carries and he had 32 yards and in deeper leagues he is a very solid pickup option. Crowell had two touchdowns in the game and he could end up as the red zone or goal line back if he continues to play well. Starks is a solid option and he has shown in the past he can be a legit starter in the NFL and in fantasy.

Cordarrelle Patterson has the chance to be a major impact player and this comes after he had three rushes for 102 yards to go along with his three catches for 26 yards. Patterson could end up being like Percy Harvin for this team and he has big play ability and his TD was the highlight of week 1. Donnell made an impact to start with five catches for over 50 yards and a TD and with the Giants struggling so much, they may end up using the TE position a lot.
