The Wisconsin Badgers are playing against Western Illinois on Saturday and the college football game is live on TV from the Big Ten Network and starts up at 12 pm noon ET at Camp Randall Stadium and streaming live from the BTN2Go website and it comes after the Badgers lost the opened weekend game against LSU.
The Badgers opened the season with a very tough matchup and that doesn't often happen with teams like this and while Wisconsin lost, they will have the chance to make up for it later in the schedule. The game against the Tigers was close and now the team has an issue at QB and they are coming into the game against Western Illinois before a matchup with the Bowling Green Falcons, which will be on the road.
The team opens with three straight games at home before playing against Northwestern on the road and while they are not as good as the past few years, it's always a tough place to play. The matchup comes ahead of two home games with Illinois and Maryland and Wisconsin basically needs to win out to be in the mix in the Big Ten and the national conversation.
The Big Ten has a number of tough teams this year with Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State and Nebraska and since Wisconsin just has the Cornhuskers on the schedule, they will need to keep winning to make up for the Tigers loss. The team plays against Rutgers and Purdue on the road back to back and then the team has Nebraska and they are ranked at 19 right now. The team then hits the road for Iowa and plays against Minnesota to end the season.
