The Tennessee Volunteers and Utah State Aggies are playing live on the NCAA college football schedule on the SEC Network on Sunday night and the matchup is live at 7 pm ET from the SEC Network on TV and streaming from the WatchESPN website online as the Vols open their season with a solid matchup.

Tennessee comes in after having a ton of change over on the line and that will be a big issue for the team going forward and they have high expectations this year. The team went just 5-7 overall last season and they only won two games in the conference and they also were 1-6 against the top 25, meaning they played a ton of games against top teams, but obviously not all that great.

The team opens with Utah State and Arkansas State and those games are manageable and then the team starts a very tough stretch soon after that. The team has four ranked teams in the top 20 over a streak of six games and the two after the first matchups are on the road. The team will travel to play Oklahoma and they are expected to very good this season after coming in ranked fourth in the league. The Vols then head to Georgia and they are looking string with Todd Gurley and that comes ahead of a home game against Florida.

After an easy game against Chattanooga, the team plays against Ole Miss and they are ranked 18th coming into the season. The team then has a tough home matchup and that is against Alabama and this is during a streak of two road games in three matchups and also a streak of three straight games against teams ranked in the top 25 coming into the season.

Alabama is ranked at number two coming into the season and they have Blake Sims starting the year at QB and now he could be there when the game comes up and Bama is expected to very good. The team then has a trip to South Carolina and they came into the season ranked in the top 10 and then the team ends with Kentucky, Missouri and Vanderbilt to end the season.
