Cleveland Browns vs. St Louis Rams Live Stream: Watch Online Preseason Streaming Game

Aug 23, 2014 07:53 PM EDT

The Cleveland Browns and St. Louis Rams are playing live on the NFL Schedule on Saturday night from FirstEnergy Stadium and the game starts at 8 pm ET as Johnny Manziel gets to play in front of home fans for the first time and the matchup is streaming from NFL.com and Brian Hoyer is the starter after being names by Mike Pettine and the team is hoping for a strong start to the season.

Manziel and Hoyer battled in the preseason and now the veteran has won, while Manziel will get the chance to develop and he could end up starting later in the season. The Rams come into town and then the Chicago Bears visit and this comes after the loss against the Redskins and that matchup saw Manziel give the middle finger and he was later fined for that move, which came after some taunting from the Washington Football team.

The Browns have an early bye this season coming in Week 4 and that comes after the team opens with the Pittsburgh Steelers and that is on the road before playing at home against the Saints. The Baltimore Ravens are next and that is a home matchup before the bye and coming out of that off week, Cleveland will visit the Titans and then will host the Steelers before playing the Jaguars on the road in Florida. The Oakland Raiders and Buccaneers will be at home next and then the team plays on the road against the Bengals.

The Rams have a tough defense coming back and they play in the hardest division in the league and they will play against the Browns before matching up against the Dolphins to end the preseason. The team opens with the Minnesota Vikings this season and then on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while the Dallas Cowboys are next in Week 3 before the team has a bye week in week 4 of the schedule. The team plays against the Eagles, 49ers, Seahawks and Chiefs in a brutal stretch and that ends with the Niners on the road after all of that. The stretch there likely will decide what happens to the team this season and whether or not they have a winning record.

The Browns have three games in four weeks on the road starting with the Bengals and the lone home game during that run will be against the Houston Texans. Manziel will get playing time this season and even with Hoyer starting it should be interesting to see how much be plays and how well or not he performs.
