The Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles face off for Thursday night football on the NFL Network and the game is streaming online live and from the radio from Lincoln Financial Field for the Pennsylvania rivalry matchup in the NFL preseason Week 3 matchup and things start after 7:30 pm ET as players like Nick Foles, Ben Roethlisberger, LeSean McCoy and Antonio Brown get ready for the season.
The Steelers started off the preseason against the NY Giants in the first game and they lost that game close and they won against the Buffalo Bills in the next game at home. The Eagles are the next game on the matchup and that is on NFL Network and the final matchup of the preseason for the team is against the Carolina Panthers. The team has a tough schedule to start the season and they open with the Browns at home and then two games in a row on the road and they also have four games on the road in the first six weeks.
The Steelers have a tough beginning with all of those road games and they also have two against the Browns and those divisional matchups could be big come the end of the season. After opening against Cleveland, the team plays on the road against Baltimore and against Carolina before a return home against the Buccaneers. The Steelers then play against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Browns again before matching up with Houston Texans and that will be their first appearance of the season on Monday night football.
The Steelers are dealing with the arrest of Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount the day before the game and now the two players will get to play in the preseason. Bell and Blout are dealing with weed charges and Bell is dealing with DUI charges and Mike Tomlin feels pressure and that's why he needs his two backs in. Bell was a rookie last season and Blount was with the Pats and signed as a free agent.
